As we honor Matthew and celebrate his 18th birthday during the MMJF Online October Fundraiser, we would like to show you how your support will benefit local school and club sports organizations in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas. Your donation to The Matthew Mangine Jr. Foundation will help us acquire critical equipment that we will distribute to organizations in our region.

AEDs—automated external defibrillators—are used to treat victims of sudden cardiac arrest; heat index checkers help monitor heat stress temperature; and cold water tubs are used to treat victims of heat stroke and heat-related illnesses.

The samaritan® PAD 350P is designed especially for use in public areas by providing a sophisticated defibrillator for adult or pediatric use, inside a lightweight and easy-to-operate system.

This cold water tub from Preventive Preparation Sports is used for the emergency treatment of heat stroke and heat-related illness.

Through the use of emergency equipment such as the items shown above, we can make sure youth and high school athletes are properly cared for: because no family should have to endure the pain of a sudden death that is preventable.
