The Matthew Mangine Jr. “One Shot” Foundation is extremely thankful to each and every supporter, friend and partner of the foundation. We met our 2023 goal of training 10,000 people with the Take10 Training (hands-only chest compressions). We especially thank the volunteers, athletic directors and trainers and friends of Matt Jr. who gave generously of their time to support events, fundraisers and trainings. We could not have made such an impact without you! We know Matt Jr. is smiling upon us.
The One Shot Team recognizes that our mission impacts the lives of many that we have met, trained and supported through the donation of emergency medical equipment or funds to purchase equipment that may help save the lives of youth athletes. You all are at the heart of what we do.
We have stated numerous times and will continue to reiterate that the work of the One Shot Foundation regarding preventable sudden cardiac arrests among youth athletes must continue as it is the number one killer on school campuses and among student athletes.
You can continue to support the One Shot Foundation as the need is great with the number of requests we continue to receive for AEDs and trainings. Your gift helps us provide more AEDs and life-saving equipment to school and community sports organizations in our region as well as training to help coaches and others respond when emergencies take place. It’s always a matter of “when,” not “if” something happens!
While this is the season for giving, the giving for the One Shot Foundation never stops! The requests just keep on coming. Take the time to help us help others – especially youth athletes, coaches and parents. After all, you have only “One Shot” to save a life!
